As young creatives ourselves, we are all about supporting up and coming artists here at Gowerbunga, and we are kicking off our first artist portfolio with a great one.

Meet Jake Williamson Schiess, or better known as; @younggowerphotography on instagram . Learning to surf through his instructor dad, Scheiss quickly picked up the sport, immersing himself into the community here. Jake started out his photography journey through the necessity of A DofE skills award, but ended up falling in love with the idea of finding unseen moments of surf to shoot.

After saving up for a lens, he now doesn’t leave the house without his camera, brought up bringing his dogs down mewslade every week, his love for Gower beaches blossomed and can be seen in his dedication to capturing such vivid imagery of our gorgeous coastline.
